Dutch girls love big, black dick!
My Zionist ex-lover who tasted like strawberries
The Robotic Hairy Cow
is a performance and installation that tell three interconnected queer theory-fictions:
The performance reenacts a series of conversations between a Mexican migrant and ex-warehouse worker at the port of Rotterdam with her Zionist ex-lover, after encountering each other many years their romance ended. After a passionate night they discussed the reasons that led to their separation, namely his extreme conservative ideology. She also tells him the story of how she came to become a Scottish highlander, and its later involvement with the cruising scene in a well-known park in Amsterdam south.
Through fiction, storytelling humor and irony, the perforative tales to expose, the layered and complex negotiations between racial desire, precarious work, queerness, and neoliberal attempts to normalize public sex.
But it also attempts to show unexpected solidarities, The zionist ex-lover, the hairy cow and the racialized migrant are key figures of contemporary capitalism, in relation to precarious labor and non-normalized sexuality.
A sculpture of the hairy cow was made as piñata, with DIY materials, highlighting the precarity the labor the project talks about.
This performance was part of the Difficult Heritage public program at Daas, at RIA, Stockholm, May 2022.
